Site for peoples interest in modern Technology

My idea, as in the form "HOME" from Mrs. Goeldner's diagram, will be about GAMES. Then the other sub-topics for the idea will be about game description, game ratings, and the price of buying this game in stores or online. Also show videos or trailers of games and another topic will be for newcomers that want to buy a console and I will show them what good and bad things each game console have. The audience that I would like for my site would be mainly gamers and as well people who would like to get information about games. How the site would be interesting would be how cool the background is and how easy it is to go to one page to the other and also what I typed before about the sub-topics. With all this work, I will need to gather information. I will do this by going to open sites that the author lets people use its information or just by personal experience. As well as media sources such as pictures and videos, I will get them from free sites and the people around me. Lastly I will update the site whenever a new topic or information comes out for a game or put down games that came or coming out.

Learn or BE Learned

The new task that we covered while we were in DreamWeaver, were how to put a description on your site on the head tab, use the head tab with the option of putting keywords, see the code while it changes the same time we change the site, view the head content, and also learn how to italicize a text or paragraph in code. And more to look forward in the Future.

Lincoln>cool

The Site that I just visited which was mainly about the Lincoln memorial and its history. In this site there are a lot of different sites, such as the introduction site, panoramas site, history of it, interviews, and paintings in the memorial that also show some history. The sites I just said, do reflect the pages main idea, why I choose this opinion is because theirs sites of history, and that lead to many other tabs and sections such as interviews and paintings. But the website as a whole is very clear and easy to understand because of the ordered sections and tabs that you can see easily and they'll take you to the destined site. Th sections are stacked side by side on the bottom of the screen. Lastly I think that Adobe picked this site because its so organized and cool because their is a site where you see the memorial and you can look all around of the room and you can also go to other rooms, and you can click on the main items of the room and get a description of it or its history.

Not for the Simple Minded

Redesign questions

As far as my initial goals in my page banner, the goals are met. But I may need a new design concept and new principle in the banner, yet the design is full and I must get more space. So I will either condense my banner or make the canvas bigger. And since I changing the whole banner, I’ll match the new concepts on my design by putting more shadow and tint in some places and it will still have the message I want my page banner to have. Also my new goals will need to have my more color, room, lettering, and probably and new message for my people.

Designing Questions

My initial goal on my page banner was for it to be cool and for other people to look at it and see how it’s balanced and how intriguing it is. I also had design concepts and principles such as making it dark, appealing, and like I typed earlier, Balanced. And they all complement each other by telling the viewer that this is going to be a cool website. Now I do have new goals in mind such as adding more feel into it but yet I still don’t know how, and I’m doing this because I want my audience to keep coming to my awesome site (If I do say so myself).

Reviewer

Anais page banner does meet her goals, because it is simple yet interesting. Her design concepts and principles are in her meet, and I don't have any other ideas for her banner, so its good so far. Her contribution to the banner is well because it keeps people interested of the banner and well for her website. She did intend to put new goals, and it will work because it going to be eye-catching and there is a lot of room to put it on. ITS REALLY GOOD!

My Audience

The audience I want to attract to my website would be of age teen or older, people who are loyal and wont say bad things about my website, and also people who would recommend my website to other people. And they will come and be interested in my site because there would be games, music, cool art, and easy way of finding things in the site, have a search engine, and also offer free downloads. Also would let people leave their email and I can email them what new things there are and other free downloads.

Changes and goals for my logo

On my logo, my initial goal were to make the design simple yet interesting and eye-catching for the viewer as if it were a real business logo, and yet, I think my logo did meet does standards because I created the logo to be simple and balanced with its surrounding area. But now I have new goals for my logo to be a better logo than it was before, I had in mind to do a background and to put different figures around the design. I also have principles and concepts I originally had in the beginning such as the logo had to have the color black and must have a rectangular shape or not having round edges, now I do have changes on the concept like to make it symmetrical or not putting the color black. And I’m changing that because to make the logo pop out above all others in the way. And all I need is my mind and something to put down my logo on to make those changes.

Redesign/ I actually did this paragraph :)

Redesigning is a process of redoing or making better changes to an image you've chosen or created. Coming from the prefix re- meaning to redo or do again, Design is to make a image of your style of art or somebody giving you the equipment and ideas for making the image.

My logo Storyboard

My logo is going to be pretty big, it will have color and have a 3-D figure. Now the point of my logo is for people to remember the company I have created, my logo wont have perfect symmetry but will have straight lines. For now my logo will be "MT", which stands for the two letters in my last name. This logo will try to be interesting and eye-catching if it were presented to a real live audience.

Coolest Logo

I have picked this logo because it is a cool game and yet the art work and lettering is interesting. The background is eye catching and yet all off the letter and pictures are in balance.

Thirds the Rule.

The Rule of Thirds is demonstrated in a photo or art piece, as to imagine that to break the image into thirds for both horizontally and vertically, which you'll have 9 parts. The theory in this is that the four points of the intersected areas of the 3 by 3 square, that that is the points of most interest which is natural and more interesting. So in simple terms, the 4 intersected points are the most interesting and mind looking of the whole image. Thats the way to make a good art work.

Fireworks Interview

LEVI

The Fire Works tools that Levi used is the Burn tool, marque tool, Text tool, Fill color, and the vector shapes tool. The effects that Levi used is the Inner Glow and Glow.

The way he created his nameplate was first he created a background made of quadrilaterals and other shapes for his text, he then created the text of his name with the font Andale Mono, font size was 150, used the filter tool, the color was black, bolded and italicized and underlined his text. The drop shadow was color blue.

ZEKE

Zeke used the filter tool and the vector tool and the text tool changed the font used the shadow tool he also used the filters shadow and glow inner bevel and outer bevel. first he made a rectangle then used the text tool then made another rectangle added affects then he posted it on blogger. First he used the rectangle tool to make his background, then he used the text tool to put his name, he bolded his text and used the font Zapfino, used the filters on the text, the text was white, red and then blue for the background.

Thursday, October 15, 2009

FireWorks drawing

The procedure I used to make my drawing was first making a gray oval for the body. Then I made another oval color green but smaller than the first oval and I put it on the center of the first oval. And again made two similar green ovals that are long but skinny, then I put it as the arms of the body. But one of the long skinny ovals, made it rotate. After that, I made a smaller oval than the arms, color white, than put it in the left arm. Made two more green ovals that are the same size for its feet. Than a green circle for its head. Than made another oval, black, but used the subselection tool to make the oval look like a mouth. Made a perfect gray circle that is tiny for its eye. Lastly, I used the Knife tool to cut the body oval, and made it look like a hexagon, than colored the most of the background sky blue. I used the ellipse tool, brush, lasso, subselection, and scale tool, to make this drawing.

FireWorks UPDATE

Today, I learned many things in the program called Fireworks. Such as how to drag a picture to another picture, how to change color and the sharpness, to make the oval Bitmap to a perfect circle, to use the magic wand tool, to modify the image size, to delete a certain section, and many other stuff that I cant name right now because I ran out of time. Hope I can learn some more!

The black car you see on your left. I chose that image because of how it looks like, as if your looking at it and you see how well the color black matches with the car's style of design. And that you just want to drive that car and feel its comfortability and its speed.
